Dry Brushing For Lymphatic System Wellness
1. Purchase an organic bristle brush (usually made for skin brushing.) You may find this at a health products, natural food market or at amazon.
2. Keep your brush dry at all times (except when cleaning, more about this, at the end of page)
3. Brush in short, light, circles with upward loving strokes. Start light, be firm and gentle. These can get more firm as your skin gets used to brushing. Take a nice deep breath, remember to breathe.
4. Brush your beautiful whole body every day from the feet up, always toward your heart. If you nausea at any time please talk to Bobbie. This is your body detoxing! Sweet! And let’s take it slow.
5. Brush in circular strokes, the bottom of your left foot first, then ankle, calf and thigh. Repeat on your right foot and leg.
6. Brush your buttocks and low back. Are you remembering to breathe?
7. Brush the front of your lovely hips then your stomach, clockwise strokes are delicious for your belly. This supports healthy digestion and grounding.
8. Brush up your torso and around breasts toward heart, do not brush your nipples. Make sure and get the area on the outside of your breasts and down the ribs to your waist.
9. Brush your hands up each arm toward your heart.Notice you taking time for you and your well-being. Good job.You must love you.
10. Brush from your chin down your neck and chest toward your heart.
11. The entire routine will take from 8-10 minutes each day. (2-4 minutes on some days that get to be quick)
12. Now, take a warm shower, do your washing and end with cool, hot, cool, hot water therapy. This will stimulate your lymphatic system to move and drain.
13. Be mindful while brushing. Never dry brush over broken skin, rashes, wounds, or infections. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes, psoriasis, eczema, or extremely sensitive and easily irritated skin, talk to your Doctor.14. About once a week, clean your dry brush with soap and water and dry it out thoroughly before the next use.
15. Be patient. Commit to 60-90 days of regular self care. The benefits will arise and you will have healthy, beautiful, glowing skin and lymphatic system.
